The Springs Living Grows with Addition of Two Beaverton Communities

Beaverton, Ore., November 1, 2025 – The Springs Living announced today two new communities are joining the organization. The additional presence in the Pacific Northwest will build on The Springs Living’s mission of changing the way people think, feel, and experience senior living. Both communities are located in Beaverton and were previously owned and operated by the Friesen family as Hearthstone Senior Living.

“From the beginning, we felt a strong connection with Hearthstone’s values and culture,” said Brenda Connelly, president of The Springs Living. “Hearthstone’s story is similar to our own, with the Friesen family’s desire to find a loved one a place that feels like home inspiring them to create a special place rooted in relationships and quality. We are honored to build upon the Hearthstone legacy of care and service for their residents and families as part of The Springs Living.”

Hearthstone of Beaverton and Hearthstone of Murrayhill will be renamed The Springs at Beaverton and The Springs at Murrayhill, respectively. The Springs at Beaverton offers assisted living services to about 50 older adults, while Murrayhill provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care to more than 200 residents.

“This transition will provide continuity of quality service for residents as well as stability and career advancement opportunities for the valued team members currently serving them,” Connelly continued. “We look forward to supporting these teams and sharing the abundant local resources already available to our nearby Springs communities.”

The Springs Living now owns and operates 22 communities serving nearly 3,300 older adults in Oregon, Montana, and Washington.
