Sarah Szabo
Staff Development Coordinator
Sarah joined The Springs Living with several years of experience working in senior care and staff development. She graduated in 2014 with a Master’s in Applied Psychology, with a focus in Organizational Development. Sarah believes that quality of care starts with finding the best employees, with warm hearts, who want to do the right thing. When not at work, she enjoys time with her friends and family and volunteering at her church.

Robert Young
Director of Plant Operations
Although Robert is the newest addition to the Leadership Team at Lake Oswego, he comes with years of experience both in senior living and with The Springs Living. Robert has worked in senior living for the past 16 years, the last 7 at our sister community, The Springs at Carman Oaks. Once out of high school, Robert joined the Air Force as an air traffic controller. Following that, he was variously employed as a carpenter, bridge builder, home builder and electrician. He is a one-stop shop! He and his wife Sue moved from California to Sequim, Washington as Sue retired after years in the education field. Shortly after, they moved back to California to care for aging parents. While there, he found his calling as a maintenance director for Atria Senior Living in Sacramento. Robert and Sue eventually relocated back to the beautiful pacific northwest to be near their granddaughters who live in Happy Valley. Around the same time, The Springs at Carman Oaks just happened to be looking for an amazing Plant Operations Director, what a match! Between them, Robert and Sue have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. When he isn’t working, he loves to camp by the water (the ocean in particular), ride his bike, travel and eat ethnic foods. Fun Fact! Robert is an actor and a stage lighting designer. He loves all types of acting including dramas, comedies and musicals. Once he retires, he is hoping to delve back in to community theater. Say “hi”, if you can catch him!

Teresa Reyes-Morales
Memory Care Coordinator
Teresa has served as our Resident Service Coordinator since March of 2020 and has blossomed into a great leader. Teresa began her career in senior living as a job shadow while in her High School nursing and medical assistant program. She then decided to volunteer and did so throughout her time in high school where she fell in love with the senior living industry. Upon graduation she began working as a caregiver and eventually a MedTech until she found her home here at SLK in the RSC role. Outside of work, you can find her enjoying the beautiful Oregon outdoor life; hiking, kayaking in one of our beautiful lakes, riding her mountain bike, playing soccer, or most recently on the slopes learning to Snowboard. Teresa’s passion for our residents and staff has shown bright and we are thrilled to see this new chapter as the Memory Care Coordinator come to fruition.
