The Springs Living Opens Innovative Senior Community in Lake Oswego

January 11, 2020

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., January 10, 2020 – The Springs Living celebrated the opening of The Springs at Lake Oswego today with a ribbon-cutting by the company’s Founder and CEO Fee Stubblefield. The community, which will be home to over 250 Lake Oswego and Lake Grove residents 62 and older, has created approximately 150 jobs. It features the latest in innovative independent living while also offering support through assisted living and memory care.

“The Springs at Lake Oswego is particularly attractive to those who plan for the future. Knowing support is available if needed can relieve a lot of stress for families. Living with less stress is a cornerstone to living well,” said Stubblefield. “We design our communities to create environments where people want to be, where people can’t wait to get old enough to move in.”

The Springs at Lake Oswego is the culmination of over 20 years of listening to the needs and desires of Oregonians. This new community introduces designs to create an environment where opportunities for new friendships can flourish, and people can thrive. The community boasts a full range of innovative amenities designed to encourage social interaction, including a rooftop wine bar, bocce ball court, and putting green, along with a beauty salon/barbershop and a movie theater.

To encourage active living and good health, the community also supports residents with an indoor pool, a fitness and wellness center supported by a certified personal trainer, and a spa and massage area. It is also home to Greenfield Health Clinic which conveniently offers primary physician care services on-site.

Dining options include a restaurant with a wood-fired brick oven for fresh-baked breads and pizzas, an open-kitchen atmosphere providing residents interaction with the chef, Fancho’s Public House for casual fare and a full bar. The menu options follow the company’s Art of Delicious philosophy of using local and fresh ingredients.

The Springs at Lake Oswego offers several spacious floor plans to choose from, including options for three-bedroom apartment residences. With a prime location at the corner of Boones Ferry and Kruse, the community is conveniently located near a variety of new shops and restaurants.

“We’re a family business with a unique approach,” added Stubblefield. “When you walk in the door you can feel the difference.”

Stubblefield, an Oregonian whose family’s northwestern roots trace back across multiple generations, brought that pioneering spirit to life when he started the company in 1996 after creating a residence for his grandmother where she would feel at home. Today, The Springs Living owns and operates communities in Oregon and Montana.
