Josh Votava Named Director of Capital Improvements for of The Springs Living

McMinnville, Ore., April 28, 2021 – Josh Votava has been hired as the director of capital improvements for The Springs Living. In this role, Votava will oversee the strategies for capital expense forecasting and project completion, remodels, and new construction project management throughout the company’s 18 senior living communities in Oregon and Montana. Votava brings nearly 20 years of experience in plant operations for senior living companies.

Most recently, Votava served as the director of facilities for Prestige Care, Inc., where he worked for over five years, managing capital expenditure needs and plant operations for 88 communities. In 2015, he oversaw maintenance at ConAm Management Corporate after serving as regional maintenance supervisor for Brookdale Senior Living in Southern California from 2012 through 2014 and Merrill Gardens from 2006 to 2012. Votava started his career in maintenance at Idyllwild Arts Foundation, Vail Resorts, and Sunrise Senior Living.

Votava earned his certification in Life Safety – Healthcare in 2020. He holds TELS Masters Certification from Direct Supply and an EPA Section 608 Universal Certification from ESCO Institute.
