McMinnville, Oregon — September 7, 2022 — Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work have honored The Springs Living by naming the company to the 2022 Fortune Best Workplaces in Aging Services. This is The Springs Living’s third consecutive year being named to this prestigious list.
The award is based on analysis of survey responses from more than 140,000 employees from companies in the aging services industry that are certified by Great Place to Work. In that survey, 82 percent of employees of The Springs Living said that it is a great place to work – 25 percent higher than the average
“We make it a priority to enhance the employee experience on an ongoing basis, regardless of where we rank nationally, so participating in the Great Place to Work survey has been a very useful way of collecting and analyzing that feedback to inform those decisions,” said The Springs Living President Brenda Connelly. “Every day, our employees make a difference in the lives of our residents and each other by consistently providing quality service with an unparalleled level of compassion. They are the ones who we celebrate with this honor.”
The Fortune Best Workplaces in Aging Services list is highly competitive. Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, selected the list using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback. Companies were only considered if they are a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization.
Great Place to Work is the only company culture award in America that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.
Based in McMinnville, Ore., The Springs Living owns and operates 19 senior living communities in Oregon and Montana, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. A new community, The Springs at The Waterfront in Vancouver, Washington, is scheduled to open in 2024.
