Exploring the Region
Crater Lake National Park– Few places on earth command overwhelming awe from observers, but Crater Lake certainly does.
Oregon Caves National Monument– This marble cave and world-renowned Chateau have been attracting visitors for decades.
Hellgate Jetboat Excursions– Talk about fun for the whole family. This popular Rogue River attraction is the Northwest’s #1 river trip.
Southern Oregon Scenic Drives– The Southern Oregon Visitors Association has information on dozens of great scenic drives that make for a perfect day trip.
Southern Oregon Casinos– There are three Southern Oregon casinos, two of which provide lodging.
Southern Oregon Visitors Association– This region-wide association provides detailed information on all the attractions of the region.

Local Live Music and Theatre
Anchored by the Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, live theater thrives in Southern Oregon.
Oregon Shakespeare Festival – Each season, running from February through October, OSF presents 11 classic and contemporary plays on three unique stages in rotating repertory.
Oregon Cabaret Theatre – The Cabaret is renowned for its top-notch entertainment (musicals, revues, and comedies).
Britt Festival, Jacksonville – Since 1963, Britt Festivals have invited world-class musicians to their Jacksonville outdoor amphitheater throughout the spring and summer months.
Camelot Theatre Company – With a new theatre building (2011), they offer high-quality, affordable live theatre reflecting the diversity of American culture.
Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater – This historic downtown Medford theater offers a diverse season of great live performances with music, dance, comedy, and musical theater.
Ross Ragland Theater, Klamath Falls –The 1939 art deco-styled Esquire Theater has been remodeled into a state-of-the-art performing arts center presenting year-round performances.
Ashland Independent Film Festival – Runs in early April each year.
Medford Jazz Festival – Runs in early October each year.
Umpqua Valley Wine, Art & Music Festival – It’s the oldest continuous wine, art and music festival in Oregon. It is held in September each year.

Medford’s OldTown – When Medford’s downtown was designated a National Historic District in 1999, it sparked renewed interest in preserving the city’s extensive inventory of historic buildings. It also lead to a rebirth of dining and entertainment in downtown.
Ashland Galleries –The Ashland Gallery Association is a collection of over thirty galleries and dozens of artists, offering remarkably diverse and high quality works of art.
There are simply too many wineries in the area to list here. But here are the major wine association websites that provide detailed information on most tasting rooms.
Southern Oregon Winery Association – A visit to a winery in Southern Oregon can involve much more than just tasting wine. A family member or winemaker may be pouring wine in the tasting room.
Applegate Wine Trail – Just outside Jacksonville is the Applegate Valley and it offers its own unique wine region.
Umpqua Valley Wineries – The modern era of grape growing in Oregon began in the Umpqua Valley with the first commercial planting of fine wine grapes northwest of Roseburg in 1961. Today, family owned artisan wineries are creating wines of distinctive quality and character that are receiving international acclaim for the Umpqua Valley.
Local Golf Courses
Eagle Point Golf Course –Designed by Robert Trent Jones II, this championship golf course is ranked #11 in the state of Oregon.
Grants Pass Golf Club – Great golf and friendly people come together to make this course semi-private course a great experience.
Running Y Ranch – Located outside of Klamath Falls (on Highway 140) the Running Y Ranch resort boasts Oregon’s only Arnold Palmer-designed golf course.
Centennial Golf Club – Ranked #6 by GolfWorld Magazine Readers Choice Awards and also voted #1 Best Golf Course in Southern Oregon, Centennial was designed by John Fought.
Quail Point Golf Course – A great nine-hole course with an outstanding “Putting Course” perfect for the entire family.
