We are among the "more elderly" here at The Springs. We have celebrated our second wedding anniversary here, our "one year" move in celebration and every day has been a Reward Day! We were encouraged and assisted by our daughters and families, We have a modest, adequate apartment and have access to enjoy the lovely space and amenities always available to us at The Springs. We are delighted with the warm and charming staff who appear to enjoy spoiling us, They direct events, games, therapies, drive us to appointments and provide interesting recreational trips.The open seating and eating times in any of the three restaurants where delicious food, delightfully served, encourages new friendships. The Springs was and is my choice of Retirement Communities for several reasons. The sales staff, Jan Broderick, especially was most caring and helpful in finding the apartment that most suited my needs. I found the entire staff had such a caring attitude toward the residents. The fact that The Springs had a pool and other exercise programs were of interest to me. I also liked the convenience of being close to the shopping centers. The pub and dining room menus and hours also helped me to decide on The Springs. The convenience of the facilities of Assisted Living and/or Memory Care units, should I ever need them, were strong points in favor of The Springs. - Elizabeth T. Allen

Reasons why I chose The Springs as opposed to other retirement community facilities:

1. We had need of two bedroom apartment to allow for office (computer) space.
2. The kitchen is furnished with full size oven.
3. The deck of the apartment has a nice view of Magnolia Park and a line of evergreen trees as a backdrop.
4. The staff at The Springs are friendly, conscientious and knowledgeable.
5. We had a chance to meet with the owner, Fee Stubblefield, and learn of his financial planning for The Springs; (7 year construction loan), the facilities and activities to help promote health and pleasant living for the residents
6. Newness: excitement of being part of a new organization, new friends starting together.
7. Trust; feeling of trust with owner and staff.
8. Building: design and planned activities.
9. Price: affordable luxury
